Loretta C. Duckworth Scholars Studio Fellowship Showcase
I attended the Loretta C. Duckworth Scholars Studio Fellowship Showcase at Temple University, where different projects and research related to technology and digital tools were presented. One of the main topics that stood out to me was how artificial intelligence is used in digital media and the ethical concerns around it, including issues like algorithmic bias and the use of race in AI-generated visuals. I also learned about challenges in different industries, such as college athletics, where departments can be understaffed and underpaid. This event helped me better understand how technology, especially AI, impacts real-world industries and society. It connects to my coursework in Management Information Systems by showing how digital tools and data are used in practice, as well as the importance of ethical decision-making in technology for my future career.
