Job Function
During my tenure as an Information System Intern at Lulu Salon, I was tasked with supporting and enhancing the IT system which was critical to the salon’s daily operations. My focus included:
- Assisting in the maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems.
- Setting up the CRM system for the salon.
- Updating software and enhancing system security.
- Planning and programing the official website of the salon.
Project
Salon Management System Implementation with Vagaro
- Deployed a comprehensive customer relationship management (CRM) system to improve client engagement and data management.
- Customized Vagaro for the salon’s reservation and customer relation’s needs. The implementation enhanced client tracking, appointment scheduling, and marketing efforts, leading to improved customer service and operational efficiency.
What I learned
- By learning and utilizing a new CRM system, I’m able to apply what I learned in database management in class to a real world situation with real customer data.
- By designing a new website with Figma, I’m able to apply the key informations learned from the UX class to the actual prototype for the salon.
