Student Life
The Ambler Accounting Professional Society (APS) is an academic and professional chapter at Temple University’s Ambler campus. Upon graduation of the previous leadership board, APS went into a hiatus until Spring 2014. Along with a few other passionate accounting students, I was able to assist the committee to bring an accounting/business-oriented student organization back to the Ambler campus. Through the time I spent with APS, I was able to get exposed to a whole new network of professionals and students that I would have never had the chance to if I did not spend a semester at the Temple Amber campus. We were able to bring awareness of APS’s active status through ASGA’s committee meetings while working along side of the Accounting faculty on Ambler and Ambler’s Office of Student Life. The was a wonderful opportunity that allowed me to creatively promote the student organization and to actively get involved at Ambler.
