Build-A-Business Project – UberUs
In my Human Resource Management class, my group members and I were tasked to think of a product expansion for a current company. This was a good project for us to get a good look into what goes into starting a business such as thinking of innovative ideas, working in a team, and thinking about what the consumer wants and needs. This project built up our communication, time management, creativity, and research skills which are all essential for future career paths. Upon brainstorming different companies and ideas, we chose Uber as our company to work on. We thought about a bunch of different product expansions from Uber Airplane to Uber Auto Repair. We ended up going with UberUs which is an extension where tour guides can drive people around to different locations for sightseeing.
