IT Senior Support Technician

Role Responsibilities will include:

  • Will gain extensive exposure to all facets of Allan Myers IT Department, laying a strong foundation in systems, processes, and administration
  • Provide end user support via phone and in person, assisting users in resolution of questions and issues related to computers, mobile devices, and printers as well as core field applications including mobile applications and computer applications for Construction and Materials operations
  • Effectively assess user reported issues for urgency and business or user impact
  • Perform basic system diagnostics and troubleshooting on computers, tablets, phones, and printers to assist users with performance or connectivity issues
  • Configure mobile devices and computers for deployment to new users and perform device swaps for existing users
  • Shadow other IT staff during site visits and interact directly with Shared Services, Construction, and Materials personnel to gain an understanding of how technology is used in those areas of the business
  • Assist on new technology roll out projects, data analytics projects, or large-scale device deployment projects as assigned
