The Advanced Computing Systems Research Program (ACS) in the NSA Research Directorate is joining with their counterparts in the High-Performance Computing Solutions (HPCS) and Operations (OPS) organizations to provide a select number of undergraduate students an exciting 9-week internship opportunity.\u00a0 ACS is part of the Laboratory for Physical Sciences (LPS) and is located in the Research Park building complex adjacent to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).<\/p>\n

During the Future Computing Summer Internship, the students will work with technical experts from NSA in small team settings and conduct hands-on technical work. Under their mentorship and using the same HPC systems as ACS researchers, the students will contribute to projects in support of the NSA HPC mission.<\/p>\n

This internship experience is ideal\u00a0for students who will be completing their junior year (Spring 2025 graduates)<\/strong>, and is well-suited for students in math, computer science, computer engineering, or related STEM fields.<\/p>\n
