Hi Class,<\/p>\n
Last night we covered part 2 of Application Software Development. \u00a0We covered the foundation of programming including classes, object, properties, methods, events, form controls, variables, conditional logic (if…then…else) and loops (for and while). \u00a0We covered this material by creating a windows forms application and illustrating the concepts by coding in the application. \u00a0We also discussed the difference between windows forms applications and windows web applications.<\/p>\n
Next week we will move onto Web Application Security, where we will cover the 10 most common vulnerabilities found in web applications and how they are exploited as well as an exercise where we will analyze and attempt to hack a vulnerable web site.<\/p>\n
For next week: 1) Complete all of the assigned readings for Week 12 listed under materials on the course website 2) Submit Murach Exercises 4-1 and 5-1 to me before next week’s class<\/p>\n
Note: If you are have any assignments from previous weeks that you have not submitted to me please submit them to me ASAP as the late penalties will continue to add up based on how long past the due date the assignment was submitted.<\/p>\n
