President – Temple Outdoor Volleyball Club
As President of the Temple Outdoor Volleyball Club, I guide the organization in fostering a welcoming and competitive environment for students passionate about volleyball. My responsibilities included:
- Organizing weekly meetings.
- Coordinating monthly fundraising tournaments, previously have partnered with Temple University’s D1 women’s volleyball team.
- Managed the club allocation and finances.
- Ensuring smooth communication among members and university staff.
This semester, our club grew in membership from 107 members to 181, offering players of all skill levels opportunities to improve their game and build a sense of community.
This role honed my skills in leadership, event planning, and teamwork. I learned to balance logistical challenges, motivate and lead a team of ten officers, and create a space where everyone felt valued. Serving as President of the club allowed me to combine my love for volleyball with my ability to manage and grow a student organization, preparing me for leadership roles in future endeavors.
