Co-Treasurer of South Asian Student Society
This past semester, I was elected the position of Co-treasurer of the South Asian Student Society(SASS) for the 2023-2024 academic school year. Throughout this opportunity, I was able to gain insights on how to run a student org and manage their money, fundraise, and run culturally significant events.
This role taught me how to manage my time well with school and running the club. It also allowed me to help Freshman meet friends at Temple and hopefully make lifelong friends through it. This relates to career development because I was the treasurer I had manage our club financially and make sure we could do the events we wanted to do.
