Web Mapping for Non-Programmers: Create Interactive Maps Without Code
I attended the workshop “Web Mapping for Non-Programmers: Create Interactive Maps Without Code”, an online session focused on building professional, interactive web maps using no-code tools. The workshop introduced uMap, a user-friendly platform that enables collaborative mapping through intuitive, point and click interfaces. I learned how to import data from multiple sources, apply map design principles, customize visual elements, enable collaborative editing, and embed interactive maps into websites or presentations. This session expanded my ability to communicate geographic and spatial data effectively without programming, strengthening my skills in data storytelling, user-centered design, and digital presentation tools.
