Pro Shop Associate
Position Description: The Golf Shop Associate at Walnut Lane is an hourly position. Golf Shop Associates supports the Director of Golf in the day-to-today execution of the golf operation, including serving customers, and merchandising.
Supervised by: Director of Golf, Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director
This position coordinates with: – Director of Golf – Executive Directors – Golf Shop Associates – Volunteers – Superintendent – First Tee Staff
Key Responsibilities:
– Providing first-contact customer interaction including booking tee times, checking in golfers, selling merchandise, and cleaning and stocking the Golf Shop.
– Assist in varying day-to-day tasks
– Manage golf carts
– Support with First Tee operation by receiving donations, and answering questions
– Follows guidelines for opening and closing duties, including cash handling responsibilities; tallying tee sheet at the end of day
– Ability to work weekends and some holidays, lift stock items or objects weighing more than 25 pounds and be on your feet for most of your work day.
