Mapping and Data Visualization with Python – Felipe Valdez
On April 15, 2026, I attended a hands-on online workshop called Mapping and Data Visualization with Python, hosted by Temple University Libraries and led by Felipe Valdez. The workshop focused on using the leafmap Python library to build interactive maps and work with geospatial data alongside tools like pandas and geopandas. Through this session, I picked up practical skills in data visualization that I hope to apply in future projects and coursework.
