-Coursework-
Globalization in World Regions and Cultures- Firstly, this course was an amazing introduction to the part we play in the process of globalization and what we can do that helps and harms people in the world around us. The straightforward and truthful nature of this course and my instructor inspired me to adopt a major that can cater to my wide array of interests- and here I am in MIS.
Honors Introduction to Management Information Systems- As my first course relating to information technology and management information systems, intro has truly inspired me to learn and explore the field beyond coursework. Not only has this helped to point me in the right direction, but also works to teach me skills such as planning and diagramming, which are imperative to MIS.
Introduction to Linguistics- Having a firm grasp of the sounds and workings of language is an amazing insight into an individual’s psyche and needs. Combined with past studies in psychology, linguistics has provided me a scientifically practical approach to understanding individuals in the world around me.
Honors Leadership and Organizational Management- has taught me an incredible amount regarding managing your personal standing as an employee in the modern world, alongside ethical business practices. These are two topics I highly regard as a young professional.
