Education
Growing Up: I grew up in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania and attended a conservative Christian high school with only 40 students in my class. Needless to say making the transition to college was not an easy one. After applying to many schools I decided to attend a local community college so I could live at home.
Montgomery County Community College: Looking back on my decision to attend a local community college, I believe was the right decision for me. At the time, I was not sure what I wanted to major in or if college was right for me. It gave me time to figure out what I wanted to do, while still allowing myself to advance academically, and keep my job. After two semesters and a few business classes I felt like business would be a good fit, not only for my skill set, but in also helping me to find a job that I could love to do. The next decision I faced was if I wanted to pursue a degree beyond my Associates.
Temple MADE: After another tough decision, I found a home at Temple University! I decided to build on my Associates Degree and pursue my Bachelors Degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing. I am currently in my first semester and enjoy my classes. Everything I learn I try to apply to my job. I find that making that bridge between what I learn in school and how I apply that in the real world to be very important. Being a student has been an extremely positive experience and is part of the reason why I was able to land an internship in a start up.
