Financial Analyst
Amazon is a leading technology corporation located in Seattle, WA. It is known for its large presence in e-commerce and its cloud computing platform AWS. I will be participating in their AFRP program which is a rotational program that lasts 2 years.
The overall role depends on the team placed during the rotations. A financial analyst is in charge of analyzing financial data so that it is easy for users to comprehend. In my recent internship, my team was in charge of analyzing and forecasting the financial position of deals to determine whether they are profitable.
A large part of my role is data analytics and visualization. I use the information learned from my data analytics class to approach my role. I can organize data and present it in a way that would be beneficial to my users.
