UPenn Capital One Case Competition
UPenn’s Consult for America and Capital One are partnering for their second case competition. The theme this year is AI/ML in fintech where students will compete in a team of 3-5 students acting as technology consultants for Capital One. Through this case competition, I will have the opportunity to learn more about the landscape of fintech and how AI/ML has and will continue to play a role in the industry. Additionally, I will further develop my skills working with a team and get a chance to network with and learn about what a career at Capital One could look like.
My team and I conducted research on LLMs and learned about how they can be built, hosted, and trained using on prem data centers, hyperscalers like AWS and Azure, and subscription models like ChatGPT and Anthropic. Additionally, we learned about how businesses are creating entreprised LLMs using company data and the equity gap of technology development and implement between larger corporations and small businesses. Our solution aims to close that equity gap by providing AI business consulting resources to small businesses.
