Cornell Tech Machine Learning Foundations Course
In this 9-week, skills-based summer course, students work with industry-relevant tools to analyze real-world data sets, identifying patterns and relationships as you create robust data science projects. Once students master the data science basics, they will move on to using several common machine learning tools to approach real-world business problems, build your own ML models, train, and implement these in the most effective way.
In these 9 weeks, I learned about and explored various ML models from trees to K nearest neighbors and covolutional nueral networks. My final project included using unsuperivsed models and NLP techniques such as lemmatization, stop word removal, and word2vec to create a recommendation system based on book reviews.
