5 Reasons Your Career Is Stalled and How to Get Unstuck
As a junior in college, I worry about the transition into my professional career. Many times, I hear people saying that they feel stuck in their first job after graduating and do not know what to do to alleviate the stress from that transition. This LinkedIn Learning course provides tips on how to fix this. One tip that stuck with me was “moving sideways, not up”. This means to expand your knowledge within the stage that you are in within your career rather than focusing on moving up a position or placement. I always have had the mindset that moving up is how to become successful, but this changed my perspective.
