I read the book The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid in September of 2021. The main character is introduced in her old age getting interviewed by a journalist who is writing a book about her life. Throughout the duration of the book, surprising details that were unknown to the public are revealed that showcase struggles of identity and status. This book highlighted the importance of being true to oneself, and how your actions can affect generations to come. It allowed me to unwind from loads of schoolwork, improving my mental health.
