- Over the course of the summer my role was to help out the engineering team with the continued success and functionality of our website which is used by our clients. In my role I had many different tasks ranging from working on our ingestion and ETL processes to ensure that the data we are recieving is successfully being ingested into our databases. I also work on the site itself making changes to the code when an issue gets brought up for example a date not filtering properly.
- I did not have really specific projects because I was doing a lot of different tasks within the two week sprint. I did create a new ingestion process for the new client. So I set them up and made sure their data was ingesting properly.
- I learned a lot ranging from managing time and working while applying the agile/scrum methodology. I also learned much more about trouble shooting and finding the root cause in the code based on the issue that we would see in our application. I continued to gain more knowledge into SQL server and visual studio as well.
