Volunteered as a baseball coach
- This volunteer work helped my baseball organization and the commissioner of Connie Mack baseball. I started in mid spring time organizing the team reaching out and getting contact information of who was going to play. I made a roster and had it in excel, and then before every game I would find out who was going to make it to the game I would go back to my roster that I had and create a lineup to bring to the game so everyone knew where they were playing and when they were batting. Then during the games I made decisions about the changes that needed to occur during the game, for example if we needed to change pitchers. This volunteer work taught me a lot about managing people I managed people that were the same age as me and some that were older and it was a great lesson. Sometimes people didn’t agree with my decisions and they would show it and express it to me, and it was really beneficial to me to have the experience with incidents like that because in the workforce there are going to be times like that.
