ERMS – A Referral Management System

I was tasked with analyzing a monthly, 3 week manual-process and migrating it to a live application. The challenge was in the multitude of outliers found in both the business processes and compliance due to its scope which spanned 3 states. I first assembled a committee tapping a representative from each segment of all related processes. After meeting once a week for more than six months, I implemented new workflow processes and designed a database system that provided data integrity with the ability to dynamically track and bill a wide variety of service types.

I was a member of a 25+ steering committee (which included company president) tasked with re-branding the company & redesigning the company website. Two national vendors were hired to lead the joint projects. While interfacing with the lead representatives from both vendors, I quickly became an integral liaison between them and my company’s leadership. My experience in marketing, project management, and web design became apparent, resulting in a job offer from the company vice president for communication coordinator.

I designed Story64.com using WordPress & Adobe Photoshop to organize and utilize many new ideas learned while working on the aforementioned marketing project. Using WordPress, a variety of plugins and several SEO tactics, I launched an online story magazine which attracted over a thousand writers.
