Outside Sales Intern
During my internship with The Commencement Group, I worked at over ten graduation ceremonies nationwide, partnering with the university by coordinating on-site operations and assisting with floral arrangements and merchandise purchases. My responsibilities included managing high-volume foot traffic, handling hundreds of transactions, and monitoring inventory in real time to minimize stock outs and maintain accuracy. To succeed, I had to adapt quickly to changing event layouts, communicate effectively with a diverse customer base, and collaborate with team members under tight timelines. This experience not only strengthened my customer service and organizational abilities but also developed transferable skills such as problem-solving, data accuracy, and communication. These skills are critical for analyzing information, delivering clear insights, and collaborating effectively in professional settings, which I can utilize in a more major specific role.
