2024 Temple University Spring Career Fair
I attended the 2024 Temple University Spring Career Fair hosted by University Career Center on March 14th. It was a great opportunity for me to network and build professional relationships from various different industries including government, education, and food. I also learned about potential careers to consider such as teaching when I talked to the director of recruitment at Teach for America. I was informed that Teach for America is an organization that strives to address educational disparities and reduce the dropout rate in cities like Philadelphia. I plan to learn more about being a teacher and consider it as a career path to pursue.
