Photography
Ever since I was a freshman in high school I developed a strong passion for photography. Enrolling in every class my school offered in photography and graphic design helped to develop my creative skills before attending college. When I was a senior, I was all out of photography class’s to take so I created an independent study in which I made my own class syllabus and designed my own assignments. In addition to my independent study, I founded our schools first photography club in which I managed a group of over thirty members and created fun trips and activities for the other photography lovers in my school.
Today, Photography is just a hobby but I try to integrate it into my business activities by being the official photographer of Temple FAB and working on the Center of Student Professional Development’s Work-your-Wardrob Fashion Show, as well as being hired for The Owl Fund’s annual photo shoot. The picture to the left is one of mine.
Fashion
Fashion has, for a long time, been an industry that was not thought of in the same realm as business. Many Universities do not teach fashion in the same school as business, but for many young women fashion is our passion. We spend our lives in it, so why not combine our love for clothes, accessories and beauty products with the business systems and innovations we are learning in our classes. My love for fashion and my current educational status as a business student at Temple University has created a new interest of mine. The passion for fashion and business in which social media comes into play in order to market and merchandise the products we love to buy.
