Hobbies and Interests
Drill Team 
Since I was nine years old I started drilling. I have loved drilling ever since I started, it has given me the opportunity to meet a lot of new people. Through drill team I have met some of my closet friends, drill team has also given me the opportunity to travel to different states for competitions. The Summer time is the off season, this is when we do parades, performances at block parties, cookouts and recruit new members. Fall through Spring is the competition season, this is when the teams work on their routines for upcoming competitions, and get ready for the national competition. I recently stopped drilling, so I could focus on school, but I still have a passion for it.
Reading
In my free time I enjoy reading books, one of my favorite type of books is mystery. When I was younger I used to read all the time, then I stopped reading as much as I used to. In ninth grade, many of the books we were required to read were interesting, my English teacher started a book club and that is when I started reading a lot more. Ever since my freshman year in high school I have been reading a lot more. I started going to book stores a lot more often to buy books all the time. 
Music
Another thing that interests me is music. I listen to music everyday, it is one thing that I can turn to when I am feeling down or don’t feel like talking. I’ll just put on some music, there isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t listen to music. Many times it is the only thing I can get things done.
