Reconciliation Intern
I spent my summer in 2024 with Orion Advisor Solutions as a Reconciliation Intern with the heldaway asset team, based out of the Berwyn, PA office.
In this role, I was tasked with analyzing and correcting incoming financial transactions coming through Orion’s Software on behalf of various financial advisor clients, to ensure correct balances and transactions for individual portfolios. Along with this, I heavily utilized Salesforce for working on cases relating to issues with client data.
This opportunity gave me great insights into the Stocks and Equities market and how much unseen technology allows it to run, and gave many insights into how raw data is transformed into useful financial records.
