Enterprise Information Management Intern
This past summer I worked as an intern for Independence Blue Cross in its Enterprise Information Management department. Here I worked with a team on several projects that involved leveraging SQL to perform trending analysis and creating data models. I also worked with other interns to develop a marketing campaign for the upcoming B.PHL Innovation Festival, which was created by one of the members of the Innovation Team at IBX. Through this internship experience, I was able to apply and refine my SQL and Data Modeling skills that I acquired from the Data Analytics course I took here at Fox my junior year. It was a difficult transition for me as SQL used in an actual work setting can be much more complex in its real world use compared to what I learned in the classroom. With that being said, I still found this experience very eye-opening for me as I can get a better grasp of what to expect in future internships or jobs.
