SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING – GET THE WORD OUT!

Brian Hart was speaker at this event, he is a PR specialist, who runs his own company. He spoke about how he found his career through the network he built on LinkedIn. He gave great advice on how to develop our own personal brand on social media outlets. Brian also gave advice on how to leverage social media to market a company or brand.
For me, I got the most value out of the importance he put on developing a personal brand. Not only does this advice vital if someone is trying to start a business but also in terms of networking and possibly finding career through your network. This was very valuable to me as a business major as developing a large and quality network is a key to success for professionals.
