ACADEMIC INFORMATION
I’m an Accounting and Finance double major with 77 total credits to date. I plan on graduating in May 2016 with 150 credits which would make me eligible to become a CPA. I currently hold a 3.7 GPA and have excelled in industry relevant courses such as:
- Intermediate Accounting I & II
- Cost Accounting
- Financial Accounting
- Corporate Finance
- Financial Management
- Calculus for Business
- Legal Environment of Business
- Business Communication
- Operations Management
CAREER INTERESTS
I plan on pursuing a career in public accounting for a few years in order to gain field knowledge and experience. However, I eventually plan on leaving the field to pursue a financial and/or managerial role within a large corporation.
I have also always had aspirations to start my own business. After my initial experience in public accounting I may choose to go this route rather than the previously stated one.
