Fall Connection
In my first semester at Temple University I decided to attend the Fall Connection Career Fair at Alter Hall. This event was essentially what planted the seed into what would eventually become my academic career in management information systems. I was an accounting major at the time but I was not sure I was going to stick with it. While in a group talking with an employer, the students were all asked to name and explain what their major does. One student in particular mentioned and MIS and explained what it was. I was enamored in that it was a combination of technology and business. I eventually switched majors, and have not looked back.
