SCHEMA DIAGRAM ASSIGNMENT
As an assignment for MIS 2502 the class was asked to create a schema diagram for a dentist appointment system. An ERD was given, and it was our goal to transform it into its very own schema. This included identifying the tables and fields, implementing the primary key and foreign key relationships, and pointing out the many-to-many and one-to-many relationships.
ERD PROJECT
This was a project from MIS 2502 (Data Analytics). I was prompted to map out an Entity-Relationship diagram that maps out the workings of an Uber-like business. The prompt needed to be analyzed and made into its own chart. This helped me gain valuable skills in information architecture that can one day be used in a business.
SWIM LANE PROJECT
For MIS 2101 I was given the task of creating a swim lane diagram. The purpose was to create a chart that follows a business process in some commonly used store. I chose a fast food restaurant because it so commonly used. It was interesting to see the process in a transaction like this one when it looks so simple without actually analyzing it.
