Internship
Faulkner Toyota June 2013-september 2013
After attending the Fox School of Businesses Spring Connection, and talking with a Faulkner HR representative, I was interviewed for a sales/finance Internship and given the position. This internship was a great experience that gave me the entire overview of the car business. I was giving a great opportunity to learn and contribute in the Finance department when one of the Finance managers went on vacation. I was successfully able to learn the department and was given the responsibility to be an acting Finance Manager for the last 2 months of my internship. Some of my responsibilities were:
Finance Internship
- Communicated with banks to get customer loans for both leasing and buying
- Ran customer credit reports and reviewed credit disclosures with customers to review their financial qualifications
- Sold extended warranties and service contracts to clients
