Community Service Chair
As the Community Service Chair for the Afro-Latinx Student Association, I was responsible for organizing and leading initiatives that connected our members with meaningful service opportunities both on and off campus. My role included planning volunteer events, collaborating with local organizations, and promoting civic engagement within the Afro-Latinx community at Temple University. I aimed to create programs that reflected our cultural values of unity, resilience, and giving back, while also addressing issues that impact marginalized communities. Through this position, I developed strong leadership and event coordination skills, while fostering a sense of social responsibility and cultural pride among our members.
