I have always proven myself to be a well- rounded individual. All of my extra curricular activities are a direct reflection of my unique, one of a kind personality. Mentoring is something that I have come to love. I thrive on helping others to find ways that benefit them. Watching others prosper and knowing that you are the one to help them achieve greatness is one of the best feelings in the world. I am currently the Public Relations chair for Operation Prom Temple University. Operation Prom is an non profit organization that reaches out to high school seniors and provides them with adequate prom attire, etiquette lessons, and mentorship. We are the first ever chapter of Operation Prom located on a college campus.
Although mentoring is what I do, dance is who I am. Ever since I can remember, dancing has always been my way of expression. Currently, I am a member of Temple University’s SOCA Dance Team. I also perform traditional Nigerian dances at various functions and events when called upon. I take my heritage very seriously and there is nothing that I love more than my culture. Being able to combine the two gives me the ultimate joy. I wouldn’t be who I am without those two main factors.
