EY’s Emerging Leaders Program
In May 2018, I had the opportunity to attend EY’s Emerging Leaders Program. During the two day program, I was not only able to learn more about EY and its culture, but also about the different service lines and experiences of the professionals at the firm. Additionally, all of the students at the program had a chance to hear about the experiences of industry leaders within the region and how they interact with EY through work or programs such as Entrepreneur of the Year.
This program helped me understand myself better as I was able to talk with both professionals and students like myself. I can say without a doubt that all the professionals I met showed EY’s values: People who demonstrate integrity, respect, and teaming, People with energy, enthusiasm, and courage to lead, and People who build relationships based on doing the right thing. I came to love the firm even more and believing even more in EY’s slogan, “Building a Better World.”
At the end of the program, meeting with the many professionals helped me better understand each service line and that I wanted to go into the Risk Advisory practice. EY’s Emerging Leaders Program helped many students including myself get a more clear view of our future and forge relationships with both students and professionals.
