Interests
I am an avid Philadelphia sports fan and I love to watch and play. Throughout my lifetime, I have competitively played many competitive sports including football, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, and soccer. My favorite team to watch is the Philadelphia Eagles, by far. Through these sports, I have learned the importance of hard work and teamwork, which can apply to life outside of sports.
One interest that a lot of people don’t know about me is that I love to read. It is one of my favorite things to do in my free time. One of the main reasons that I am who I am today is because of the reading that I have done throughout my lifetime. Reading is a way for me to open up my mind and explore unique places. It has strengthened my English skills and vocabulary and and both of these things have significantly benefited me in my lifetime.
I am also very interested in working on cars and seeing how they work. Ever since I was a young kid, my dad has taught me everything because of his love for cars, especially Corvettes. As I grew up, he would teach me more and more and the tasks would get more complicated the more that I learned. I started with things as basic as changing a tire or driving, to learning things like how to fix the radiator or identify problems with the motor or transmission. This fixing of cars has helped me learn the value of trial and error and figuring out the way things work. These skills don’t just apply to fixing a car, they apply to everyday life.
