Work Experience
International Vision Center
It’s one of the oldest optical stores in the city of Philadelphia. When I was a part-timer there, I had to sort patients’ confidential documentation by alphabetical orders. Also, I had to record patients’ basic contact information using Microsoft Access. In addition, I sorted out which types of information I need to keep in the patient’s portfolio. A the end of each day, me and my co-workers had to shred all the information that we no longer need. Through this job opportunity, I learned how important it is to keep the patient’s information private and secure.
