I was recently in a X-tax Case Competition last semester. “Tax Challenge is PwC’s national case competition designed to give you experience and exposure to real world business and tax issues while teaming with others on your campus.” There were 10 teams from Temple that competed in this competition and the team I was working with won first place at Temple University. This competition to meet professionals from PwC as well as meet students at Temple that I did not know. This competition gave me a great experience about the real world and it also helped me develop my critical thinking and presentation skills. It also made me realize what I needed to improve professionally. Overall this competition was a great way to work in teams and made me realize how teamwork can lead to success.
