Tableau Server for Analyst

Instructor Dustin Cabral begins the course by providing an overview of Tableau Server and Tableau Online, guiding me through the interface, content management system, and the different user roles and permissions. He walked me through the process of publishing workbooks and data sources, while also introducing advanced features such as scheduled refreshes, data-driven alerts, custom views, and comment functionality. The course also taught me how to use web authoring tools to build, modify, publish, and share new workbooks or data connections directly within the Tableau Server environment. Throughout the training, I stepped into the role of a senior Tableau developer at BankMaven, a fictional financial services company. Using the techniques and tools introduced in the course, I assisted the BankMaven team in publishing content, automating data updates, crafting personalized views, and delivering insights to the organization’s key stakeholders.
