Digital Leader Fireside Chat: Mark Spykerman -The Purpose of Work
Mark Spykerman is the Chief Information Officer of AmerisourceBergen Corporation. He has been with AmerisourceBergen since 2012 and has served in a number of leadership roles. Most recently he was the Senior Vice President, Transformation, where he strengthening the company culture while helping make step change improvements in effectiveness and efficiency. Prior to that, Mr. Spykerman held several leadership roles in AmerisourceBergen’s commercialization business, including running a precision medicine diagnostics business, and he led strategy for the company’s health systems and independent pharmacy markets. Before joining AmerisourceBergen, he was a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Mr. Spykerman graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and received a Master of Business Administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Dean’s Fellow.
