MANNA Volunteer
This past week I had the pleasure of volunteering a MANNA. A local Philadelphia organization that helps feed and better the underserved community. For a few hours every other Wednesday of the semester a group of us from the American Medical Student Association Temple Chapter go and volunteer at MANNA. Together we portion and package a variety of meals for the upcoming week that will later be delivered and served to patrons throughout the Philadelphia area. In volunteering I have learned a lot about ways to better serve the underserved and how much good we can do when we all work together.
