UX WordPress Project:
I was assigned a blog website which contained tons of data crammed very close together in different tabs. It was not easy to understand the message or purpose of the website and difficult to locate the resource which I was looking for. With WordPress, I re-designed the layout of the website.
- Simplified content and only included relevant information
- Changed the background so user can easily read the words
- Inserted a responsive slider so user can easily understand the goal of the website
- Added a tab and coded in inputs where the user can comment on a blog or post to express his/her opinion
- Added sidebar widgets where a user can subscribe for the mailing list to get more involved
- Added media (relevant YouTube videos)
- Added a About Us tab so the user can access and see how the website came about
- Many more
Data Analytics Project:
- Participant of Data Analytics Project; analyzed the demographics of sport viewers across the nation, organized percentages of grouped viewers in a table, created analysis for ease of understanding.
AWS Project:
- Constructed systems and applications in AWS. Created VPC’s, subnets, security groups, auto scaling groups
- Created target groups to control traffic over different ports (8080, 3046, 80…)
- Launched instances through Web and App servers in AWS
- Used Node.js to edit .html and .js files so the game application can work successfully
