Administrative Assistant
Asian Bank is a private financial services company based out of Philadelphia, PA. During Summer of 2018, I worked as Administrative Assistant. It was a part-time internship position lasting for 13 weeks mainly helping the company transition from traditional paper-work to a more digital platform.
I collaborated with Loan Administers to separate, analyze and document loan files for more than 200 clients. One of my daily tasks was to converted and digitized loan files by scanning and using Adobe Software to import it into the loan department’s database. I also helped with the management of the loan department database by creating and organizing different loan files into their correct location.
From this internship, I learned many new skills that relate to the MIS major. After this internship, I am more confident in my communication skills, teamworking, and IT skills. I was able to use different software and technologies throughout my daily task in order to manage and work on the database.
