For my Spring 2019 semester, at Temple, I had the opportunity to work with the Global Interactive team at QVC under the Customer Journey Department. The responsibility of this role was to assist the portfolio analysts in executing and managing the request for work intakes for designated markets. I was also involved with the Agile transformation that QVC was part taking in. One of the primary responsibility of this role is to update, maintain and redesign the SharePoint site for the Global Interactive team. I had the chance to use my project management skills to plan and execute different projects. Additional responsibilities include documenting, managing and organizing the intake details and metadata to log the requests for work intakes from all different departments.
This internship was a tremendous opportunity for me to get hands on experience with a fast-pace, big and global company. This role aligned with many of core classes at the Fox School of Business. I had a great experience working with the other intern and the interactive team on the different projects we developed and tackled. Furthermore, this role taught me how to manage and balance my work life while attending classes this semester.
