Personal Branding by Blackstone LaunchPad (Spring 2018)
Location: Howard Gittis Student Center (Lower Level), November 01, 2018M – 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
By going to this event, I learned tips and techniques for creating a personal brand. Personal branding can be used to promote by myself to future employers. Tyra Ford, the Director of the Temple Professional Network out of the Office of Alumni Relations showed different techniques on how to create and improve our personal brand for networking and future opportunities. This event is related to my coursework because as MIS students we have the opportunity to create an e-portfolio that helps us expand our network within the department. By doing this we can create and improve our profiles on different networking and social media platforms.
