Career Objectives
I have industry experience from interning at V3 Insurance Partners this past summer as an Underwriting Assistant. Fortunately, I was asked to keep working when I went back to school, so I still work there part-time. I got a pretty good feel for the underwriting process, and was constantly in contact with numerous brokers. This summer I hope to find an internship on the broker side of insurance to help figure out where I want to be for the rest of my life. Once I graduate, I hope to either be a broker or underwriter, depending on which I feel is best for me. I am also studying for my first CPCU exam that I will be taking this winter break, so I hope to have all 8 exams passed within the next 3 or 4 years.
