About Me
I started college at Philadelphia University, where I spent my freshman year studying Fashion Merchandising. However, I quickly realized that this school wasn’t for me, and that I wanted to pursue a career in business. Upon transferring to Temple, I changed my major to Marketing, and a year later added Risk Management and Insurance as a dual major because of the great program Fox has to offer. I was on the Dean’s List from fall 2012 to spring 2012. I was also awarded the Philip Bratspis Scholarship through the Fox School of Business this year. I am currently a member of Phi Sigma Pi, the National Co-Ed Honor Fraternity, and Gamma Iota Sigma, the International Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science Fraternity. Through these fraternities I was able to participate in multiple community service events, such as neighborhood clean ups, clothing drives, and Relay for Life.
My hobbies and interests include playing sports, reading, fashion, shopping and crafting. I have played on multiple intramural teams at Temple, including volleyball, softball and soccer. My favorite book that I have read thus far is My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult. Fashion has always been an interest of mine, but now is more of a hobby rather than a career choice. I also like to shop and craft when I have spare time.
