I teamed up with two other undergraduate university students, and together we competed to showcase our problem-solving skills and develop innovative solutions for the future of financial services. The theme of the competition was Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in financial services.<\/p>\n<p>Through this case competition, I had the opportunity to learn more about fintech and the significant role that AI\/ML plays in the industry. Working with a team, I honed my skills and explored the construction, hosting, and training of Large Language Models (LLMs). We discovered various hosting options, including on-premise data centers, hyperscalers like AWS and Azure, and subscription-based models like ChatGPT and Anthropic. Our research also revealed how large corporations are building enterprise-level LLMs using proprietary data, creating an equity gap in technology adoption between them and small businesses. To address this gap, our solution offers AI-based business consulting resources tailored to small businesses.
