Work History and Career Objectives
Current Work
I have been employed with Modell’s Sporting Goods since 2010 as a cashier and sales associate. It started out as a part time job while I attended high school in Willow Grove. Once I moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University, I transferred to the Modell’s in Center City, because it was more convenient and cost effective to work at the closer location. I was promoted to Head Cashier in November of 2014, a position that requires me to use the leadership skills I have attained through Temple University. I pride myself in excelling in all departments of the store and leading the way through customer service and excellent leadership.
Career Objectives
Halfway through junior year I declared a marketing major. With my four years in retail and sales, I decided it would be best to become a marketing major, because that is what interested me the most. After graduation in May of 2015 with a bachelors degree in marketing, I hope to start at a marketing firm or as a manager in a retail store, and work my way up to a marketing position. My experiences learned through the Fox School of Business and the classes I am taking are preparing me to be ready for any job that comes my way.
